Reviews
This place was fantastic. Service was top notch, the bartender Max was super friendly and a great conversationalist. I had the bourbon salmon and it was fantastic, and my wife had the flounder and it was quite tasty.( Of course I had to try it, that's my job as a husband right?!?) Overall it was a wonderful experience. Price was what one would expect for an upscale restaurant, so no surprise there. The bread was phenomenal, and I highly recommend the calamari! I love that they can tell you where all of their food is sourced from, and I appreciate the pride they have in that. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!
A very delightful evening in this relatively new restaurant in GR. The food was full of flavor with some Asian inspired flavors on the menu. Everything we had was excellent. They had a new spin on tuna tar tar with crispy fired rice squares. Highly recommend their crab cake and their Chilean sea bass. Definitely one of the best restaurants in GR. If you love seafood, you should give this place a try!
I came here for my first visit last Tuesday evening. When you walk in, you're immediately greeted by the hostess. As i stated, it was a Tuesday dinner. Therefore, the restaurant still had seating. After being seated, We placed our drink order and were brought bread and butter with our drinks. I ordered the Seafood Alfredo, which is in the picture below. The scallops and salmon were cooked perfectly to my liking. I had it topped with fresh Parmesan. Overall, the experience was great, and I will be returning to and recommending this establishment to all. Keep up the good work!
This restaurant is fancy with very nice and friendly waitresses and personnel in general. We got a table on a busy day without any waiting, which was great. They have these cool tablet menus, and it was the first time we saw such menus. The restaurant is very stylish inside and outside. It also has a very big territory. The food is really good, so are the drinks. The oysters are fresh and delicious.
The atmosphere here is classy and upscale without being pretentious! There's mood lighting without being dark. The seats are very comfy. Plus I love the windows to outside with the views of towering buildings.
I ordered the Surf n Turf ($56). The Petite Filet Mignon steak was cooked to perfection. It was a tender, excellent cut of beef. The Lobster tail wasn't large, but was delicious. Tender and sweet. This was the first time I've had lobster tail, outside of Lobster Rolls. I'm a fan of the combination with the steak. I added a cup of She-Crab Soup ($6). It was a slightly spicy, with a taste of the sea. It was very good. I especially liked dipping my bread in it. Speaking of the complimentary bread is soft and delicious. I don't know the herb in it, but it adds a unique and tasty edge to the bread. The Asparagus and Mashed potatoes were both good, but were the least impressive items of my meal. I finished up my meal with the Carmel Apple Bread Pudding ($10). It was spectacular. This may sound odd but it was like a slighly undercooked muffin texture wise. This may sound weird, but it was yummy times 10. The person I was with ordered the Chicken Picatta ($24). It was declared to be delicious.
The service was good, but not perfect. It was super friendly. However waiting to order dessert and waiting to pay were both not short waits. Plenty of staff so not sure why!
Overall a very solid 5 star review. Would I return? Absolutely, while a pricey choice it is worth it. Go ahead reward yourself and splurge.
We chose Real Seafood Company to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. We started with the Point Judith Calamari, which was delicious. The saffron aioli really made the calamari dish. My hubby had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and I enjoyed the Walleye Milanese. For dessert, we had the Chocolate Brandy Mousse. We were stuffed, but in a good way. We will definitely go back. The service was excellent. Probably the only complaint is that there is no free parking in the area. While I know the restaurant is downtown and so free parking isn't a given, it would be nice if there was at least some form of validation for a nearby parking garage/lot.
My husband comes here often at lunch time for the clam chowder. Today after lunch, he sent me a photo of the Lego dried flower centerpiece on the host stand. Long story short, we had Lego flowers at our wedding and we were planning on going somewhere for our anniversary and thanks to the centerpiece, decided to go to Real Seafood Company for dinner. Top notch service from start to finish, delicious drinks (highly recommend Midnight Dreary, the old fashioned and Manhattan) and really awesome seafood!! We had the Cajun fried oysters for starter and then miso glazed seabass and Paella as entrees. Thanks for a wonderful night!
This place was delicious. I loved the food, the service and the atmosphere. I had the scallop risotto and it was amazing. There are gluten free options and two alcohol free selections (non alcoholic beer).
